Refund Policy

How credit packs, subscriptions and failed fonts are handled and refunded on FontQuill.

1. The short version

Fonts that fail to be made are never charged. Unused pack credits can be refunded within 3 days of purchase; credits already used cannot. Subscriptions can be cancelled any time from Settings → Billing, and a subscription charge can be refunded within 3 days if none of that period’s credits were used.

2. Credit packs

A font with the basic Latin set costs 100 credits; extra languages and redraws cost more, and the price is shown before you start. Pack credits never expire.

• 300 credits (≈ 3 English fonts): $9.99
• 1,500 credits (≈ 15 English fonts): $19.99
• 5,000 credits (≈ 50 English fonts): $49.99

3. Subscriptions

Subscriptions are billed through Stripe and renew automatically until you cancel.

• Starter: $9 per month, or $86 per year, for 500 credits a month (≈ 5 English fonts)
• Pro: $19 per month, or $182 per year, for 5,000 credits a month (≈ 50 English fonts)
• Studio: $49 per month, or $470 per year, for 15,000 credits a month (≈ 150 English fonts)

Yearly plans receive their credits every month of the billing year. Pack and subscription credits share one balance; monthly plan credits refresh each billing period.

4. Cancelling a subscription

Cancel any time from Settings → Billing. Cancelling stops the next renewal; your plan and its credits stay active until the end of the period you already paid for, and nothing more is charged. Partial periods are not refunded pro rata.

5. Failed fonts

If a font cannot be made, whether from an error, unreadable output, an unreadable template photo or a timeout, you are not charged and the credits return to your balance automatically. No ticket needed. A font that is made successfully but that you don’t like is not a failed font; you can redraw single characters instead.

6. Refunds on credit packs

• A pack that is completely unused can be refunded in full within 3 days of purchase.
• A partly used pack can be refunded within the same 3 days for its unused credits, valued at that pack’s price per credit.
• After 3 days, or for credits already used to make a font, purchases are final.

7. Refunds on subscriptions

• First payment: refundable in full within 3 days of the charge if none of its credits were used.
• Renewals: a renewal charge is refundable within 3 days of that charge only if none of that period’s credits were used.
• Otherwise subscription charges are final. You can still cancel any time to stop future renewals.

8. Billing errors and duplicate charges

Charged twice or the wrong amount? Open a support ticket within 30 days with your order details and we will correct it.

9. Chargebacks

Please contact us before disputing a charge with your bank; most issues are solved within 5 business days. Disputing charges for credits you used may lead to account suspension.

10. How to ask for a refund

Open a support ticket from Settings → Support tickets, or email [email protected] with the email on your account, the order and the reason. Approved refunds go back to the original payment method through Stripe, usually within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

11. Your statutory rights

Nothing in this policy limits refund rights that mandatory consumer law gives you where you live.
